Matt Bardsley
Principal
I have been teaching seminary for almost 20 years. I am married to my best friend, Aubrey, and we have 2 amazing kids - Cohen and Eden. I love running, music, and anything creative. I have a passion for teaching, especially the gospel of Jesus Christ, and love being able to testify of Him and His gospel to youth and young adults every single day!

Caleb Callister
I’m Brother Callister.
I am madly in-love with my wife Eden, who I was married to in December of 2023. I enjoy singing, dancing (I ballroom danced my way through high school) and playing my accordion. I am currently pursuing a degree in business at SLCC. Most importantly, I love my Savior Jesus Christ. He is my friend and my strength.
Ashley Wright
I’m Sister Wright (formerly Sister Flake)! I got married in April 2025 to my best friend, Brayden. We love golfing, traveling, ice hockey, camping, playing music, and learning new things together! I served my mission in Hawaii, with my primary assignment at the temple visitors’ center in Laie. I graduated with a Physics teaching degree from Utah State University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Western Governors University. I love Jesus and am so grateful for the unending ways He makes life better!
Jesse Manscill
Hello! I am Brother Manscill! I have been teaching in S&I for over 10 years. My wife’s name is Amanda and we have three kiddos: Emery (8), Oliver (6), and Hazel (3). I love all things soccer. I am a lawn snob and an aspiring pizzaiolo. I am on a quest to find the greatest Root Beer---please let me know your recommendations! My favorite candy bar is a Take 5 or anything with coconut!
Savannah Hess
Hello! I'm Sister Hess and I love being at Alta High School! I've been teaching seminary since 2019 and graduated from BYU with a degree in Family Studies (I spent a lot of time studying how teenage brains develop--they're so cool!). I have a great family with two parents, four sisters, four brothers in law, and 11 nieces and nephews, who I love to spoil and take with me on adventures! I love to travel and learn new things; I find joy in singing and performing in local theater, and I am a huge nerd for Jesus!!
